Saving Al Geneina Initiative works to reduce violence and empower women and girls in eastern Chad’s refugee camps by enhancing their rights and community participation. Their projects include a Trauma centre for women and children, training in handicrafts, providing capital, operating mobile clinics, distributing hygiene kits, and boosting self-esteem through beauty services, along with creative initiatives like soap and perfume production and youth sports engagement. SWAG’s support and collaboration with Saving AL Geneina will be focused on fundraising and advocacy to support their mission, which aligns with our commitment to uplifting vulnerable populations in Sudan.
