We are delighted to invite you to the launch event of our organisation, SWAG (Sudan Women Action Group) to join us as we embark on a journey to empower women affected by the ongoing conflict in Sudan and support local communities in Scotland.

OBJECTIVES

1. Introduce SWAG’s objectives and projects to key stakeholders.
   – Supporting “Save El-Geneina” Initiative
   – Sudanese Youth Integration Programme
2. Network and connect with like-minded organisations in Scotland.

– Sudan: The Forgotten Crisis – Dr Anne Alexander
2. Film Screening:
“Doing What They Love: Yalla Khartoum”: A film about the power of creative expression that ultimately aims to serve as a peaceful catalyst for emancipation, equality, and social change.
3. Art Exhibition:
– An exhibition “Sudan Stolen Dreams” by Maisson Matar
– The photography work of Khalid Elbadwi Bashir
