Two years ago, on April 15, 2023, war broke out in #Sudan leaving millions of civilians across the country suffering from the violence of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).
More than 12 million Sudanese have been displaced after fleeing the fighting to seek refuge in makeshift camps where they face food insecurity, a health crisis and unbearable living conditions. Making Sudan the largest displacement crisis in the world who no one talks about. Women and girls are subjected to GBV on a daily basis and systemic sexual violence is being used as a weapon of war in Sudan — including against children as young as one, according to the UN.
